I know that you did not create this video and you most likely just found it amusing and not so much that you have a hatred for Starbucks.
All I'm gonna say is that Starbucks at least pays their employees well over minimum wage, provides full benefits for working only 20 hours a week, stock purchase programs and many other perks... like free coffee. I guess my point is just that in an industry like food and beverage where there is little to no enforcement of labour laws, where benefits are non-existant, minimum wage is the expectation without hope for a raise, your owner drives a hummer or a porche while the employee works 2 jobs to pay rent... Starbucks just doesn't seem so bad does it?
kristen, that's rad if they pay their employees well, yeah, i mean, i don't really have anything against starbucks (other than their ridiculous prices), but this old guy is funny as shit...
i dn'tk know i get coffee there, but jesus, the other day i was in there getting a coffee and was like 'maybe i'll grab something to eat too,' so i pick up this little fruit bowl thing... and it was like $6 for basically two slices of apple, two slices of cheese, and like 5 grapes... uhh... i guess that's how they can afford to pay their employees and still drive porsches...
