i just bought a new sketchbook. working on a series of drawings based on the ones i did for my group, ok cobra. simple sketches based on black and white photographs. want to send me a photo of yourself? i'll draw you...
here's a photo of my old montreal flatmate owain.
he looks good in my jacket. he writes weird shit like: "so last night the robot that lives under my bed jumped out at 5 in the morning and screamed "vive l'emperor" before swiftly making a peanut butter sandwich. i tried to console him with triscuits and caviar but he refused in his depression. fortunately my toothbrush-radio tapped into an a.m. station and cheered things up, but my robot broke his leg dancing to cockrock and i had to put him down with a rifle. life is hard sometimes."
he also just finished making a short film. i'll put something up when there is something. girls, make your move now, before he's a star...

oh yeah, i might be doing another gig this saturday night at call the office. my brother and sister-in-law are big into playing ultimate, and they organize a tournament in london every summer. it's happening this weekend. anyway, the after party is at the office, and apparently i'm going to dj and/or perform. i'll let you know.
okay, later, i'm going to go hang out with my nephew...

hey ryan how long are you in london for and will good and fun things still be happening when i arrive there in september and will the sun still be shining and will the beat still go on?
elise, i will be here for, hmm, i'm not entirely sure, most likely until the spring... i'm sure there will be some things happening, we'll hang out, eat spinach and drink steam whistle and bother people, all set to music.
